A fantastic open day full of science and networking!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Tuesday 8th November 2022, Seda hosted an Open Day at our new state-of-the-art Head Quarters based at Cheadle Royal Business Park. There was a great turn out for our first event, with more than 40 guests from all over the UK. It was a brilliant opportunity to welcome our existing clients and business partners and for our new contacts to see where the magic happens!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\"Open<\/a>\n

The <\/span>Open Day showcased our <\/span>new <\/span>facilities<\/span> alongside demonstrations of<\/span> the<\/span> services that we offer<\/span>. In <\/span>particular<\/span>, <\/span>the <\/span>O<\/span>pen <\/span>D<\/span>ay<\/span> launch<\/span>ed<\/span> Seda\u2019s new in-silico offering <\/span>MI-DAS (<\/span>M<\/span>odel-<\/span>I<\/span>nformed <\/span>D<\/span>evelopment of <\/span>A<\/span>morphous <\/span>S<\/span>ystems), <\/span>state of the art <\/span>processing suites<\/span>,<\/span> and<\/span> our capabilities surrounding the<\/span> design and development <\/span>of<\/span> complex medicines<\/a>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\"Paul<\/a>\n

The day began with <\/span>a welcome and introduction from Seda\u2019s directors, with <\/span><\/span>Paul Stott<\/span><\/span><\/a> presenting an overview <\/span>of <\/span>Seda\u2019s history and a glimpse <\/span>into<\/span> our<\/span> future<\/span> direction<\/span>. <\/span><\/span>Paul Dickinson<\/span><\/span><\/a> offered some insight into Seda\u2019s <\/span>integrated <\/span>modelling capabilities, and how this <\/span>supports<\/span> all stages of the drug development<\/span> process<\/span>, followed by<\/span> <\/span>Marcel de Matas<\/span><\/span><\/a> introducing<\/span> Seda\u2019s <\/span>laboratory offerings. <\/span>Our<\/span> guests got<\/span> first-hand demonstrations of <\/span>our<\/span> laborat<\/span>ory <\/span>capabilities<\/span> during the lab tour<\/span>s<\/span>, with <\/span>Seda\u2019s <\/span>analytical,<\/span> formulation, dissolution <\/span>and processing <\/span>equipment<\/span> in action<\/span>. <\/span>The day finished with a delicious lunch provided by <\/span><\/span>Open Kitchen MCR<\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\"Lab<\/a>\n

There w<\/span>ere<\/span> a lot of <\/span>inspiring<\/span> scien<\/span>tific<\/span> discussion<\/span>s <\/span>and networking <\/span>du<\/span>r<\/span>ing the <\/span>poster<\/span> s<\/span>ession<\/span> \u2013 it <\/span>was great to meet some new <\/span>contacts <\/span>and also<\/span> see<\/span> some familiar faces<\/span>!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\"People<\/a>\n
