Following our\u00a0<\/span>tremendous\u00a0<\/span>progress\u00a0<\/span>over<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0past<\/span>\u00a012 months<\/span>\u00a0an<\/span>d\u00a0<\/span>in line with\u00a0<\/span>plans to further<\/span>\u00a0expand our analytical capabilities, November 2021\u00a0<\/span>saw three<\/span> new analytical scientists <\/span>join<\/span>\u00a0our\u00a0<\/span>team<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>This<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>recruitment\u00a0<\/span>will support our\u00a0<\/span>drive to increase<\/span>\u00a0capacity in our\u00a0<\/span>laboratory offering<\/span>, along<\/span>side<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>our<\/span> drug product consulting<\/span><\/a><\/span> and pk <\/a><\/span><\/span>modelling\u00a0<\/span>serv<\/span><\/span>ices<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Elizabeth Wright<\/h2>\n\"Elizabeth\n

Elizabeth Wright<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0joins as an Analytical Scientist with a BSc in Chemistry from University of Sheffield and has 7 years’ experience in the field. She is skilled in a broad range of analytical techniques, such as GC-MS, HPLC, ICP-OES, Karl Fisher, XRF where she has tested preclinical samples for toxicology. She is able to work to GLP standards and has accreditation from MCERTS and UKAS where she has personally gained incredibly positive feedback on the quality of her work.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Toby Goodall-Munroe<\/h2>\n\"Toby\n

Toby Goodall-Munroe<\/span><\/span><\/a> joins as a<\/span>n Analytical\u00a0<\/span>Scientist<\/span>\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0a first-class<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>M<\/span>Sc<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span>Chem<\/span>istry<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>from\u00a0<\/span>the University of Leeds<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>He also has expertise in s<\/span>ynthesis,\u00a0<\/span>characterisation,<\/span> and phase analysis of novel metal-organic nanosheets – specifically the bottom-up synthesis of novel zirconium-tricarboxylate based MON systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emily Stables<\/h2>\n\"Emily\n

Emily Stables<\/span><\/span><\/a> joins as a Scientist<\/span>\u00a0with a\u00a0<\/span>first-class<\/span>\u00a0BSc<\/span>\u00a0in<\/span>\u00a0Chemistry from University of Leeds\u00a0<\/span>and MSc<\/span>\u00a0with Distinction<\/span>\u00a0in<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Drug Discovery, Development and Delivery<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>from Liverpool John Moore<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s University<\/span>\u00a0with a project on Immunomodulating Brain Targeting Peptide-Based Nanoparticles.\u00a0<\/span>Emily\u00a0<\/span>has experience in\u00a0<\/span>API\u00a0<\/span>polymor<\/span>ph screening\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>has experience<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>working with analytical techniques such as PXRD, HPLC, IR, NMR, DSC, TGA<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>flow cytometry<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Emily\u2019s areas of focus at Seda will be formulation development for preclinical and clinical studies alongside a<\/span>nalytical development.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
